Saw the show and promptly revised the itinerary for our visit to New England to include Burlington and your restaurant. I look forward to seeing you on the evening of 5/31!

@ jivs4osu Thank you for the wonderful comments. I can't get over all the positive emails that my family and I have been getting. Even though I lost, what an incredible honor and experience that the Food Network gave to us. I hope that you and everyone that reads this will ask your local grocery store to carry our sauces & meatballs. My dream is to have everyone experience the heritage that is present in our sauces, meatballs, and even the restaurant (should you ever make it to Vermont :) ).

I really enjoyed the Foodnetwork program. Vermont is a long way from California but I can smell that incredible Lasagna. You & your family is what comes across and I can only imagine how good your cafe is. You are clearly bless with a great family, even though I know how trying it can be at times to have a family buiness. One day I hope to sit down to the warmth that comes across and enjoy. Mangiamo!

Mark; after several attempts, we were able to see your "THROWDOWN" with Bobby Flay. It was such a great show and I think and know that you should have won the contest. I have been using your sauce for quite a few years now. I use to order from you by the case but since our local Wegman's carries it, I can assure that our pantry is never without several jars. Lasagna is on this weeks menu after viewing the show. While our children were at UVM, we had eaten at Bove's many times and always came away rather sad that we could not get some to take home. But now I don't have that worry any more. Thank you for a great show but better yet for such great sauce. Being an Italian and always made my own sauce, it could not compare with yours. Again, thank you.

We found Bove's this summer by accident and it was one of the most pleasant accidents we had the whole trip! We've talked about it and talked about it. Took pix and such. I know my food and I'm quite picky and I can say that your sauces were wonderful and even the burger was incredible - a good old fashioned hamburger - you can't get that many places any more.

I like Bobby but I wish he would really compete and go traditional to traditional. I don't think it's fair to compare apples to oranges. So therefore, even without tasting, sorry, I think you won! Now if you could just start selling your lasagna frozen so I could get it down here that would be great.

I love Throwdown with Bobby Flay on The Food Network! I always record the show on my DVR, so I can watch it more than once. VERY RARELY do I ever want Bobby to lose, but this time I was pulling BIG TIME for "The Sauceboy's Lasagna." The lasagna looked cheesy, rich, and mouth watering. I make an awfully mean lasagna, but THAT masterpiece would blow mine out of the water. The idea of lasagna made with meatballs is genius! The other reason I wanted Bobby to lose, is because Mark is so incredibly nice. Many of the cooks/chefs that Bobby challenges on Throwdown are downright arrogant. Mark is by far the most humble, genuine, and sincere opponent Bobby has ever challenged. My mouth hit the floor when his recipe did not win the Throwdown, and I got choked up when he expressed his (and his family's) gratitude for the challenge. In my book, Mark, you would have won hands down! I hope that I will be able to duplicate that prize lasagna when I request my local supermarket to stock Bove's sauces.

Hey Mark,

Since I don't get the Food Network here at school, my parents taped it for me. They said you were very good with the camera, but that regardless of who wins, your lasagna still trumps all!

Congrats on all of the added press and publicity from this! Talk soon.
