Recently some of my loyal vodka sauce lovers have brought it to my attention that they have seen a slight difference in the color of this sauce. I noticed this variation in color, but I want to ensure you that the recipe has NOT changed. No corners were cut or cheaper ingredients used. I want to make that perfectly clear. I placed several calls to my tomato supplier in California and they assured me that the deeper color in the sauce is the result from the darker crop of tomatoes that we received.

Last week, I went back to the plant to make the Vodka sauce. I have to say that this batch I made was exceptional. It was truly awesome! So, thank all of you for sending me your concerned emails and please keep them coming. I am happy that all of you love my Vodka sauce and I wanted to make sure that you all know that its back to normal. So I hope that you try the Vodka sauce once again.
